Graduate Assistants (September 2024 to July 2025)

We are looking for inspirational and energetic graduates to join our boarding team and sports department from September 2024. School Chaplain (part-time)

We are seeking a School Chaplain to contribute to the organisation of services, collective worship and events and to promote the Christian values of the school. The successful candidate will work across the school to encourage and support all members of the school community in Christian spirituality, as well as welcoming those from all faiths and none, promoting the spiritual and moral development of each person and encouraging rich and diverse cultures.

Salary: A stipend of £100 for each service/event attended by the Chaplain, payable on invoice

Estates Manager 

We are looking for an Estates Manager who will be responsible for the maintenance of the school and its grounds. This is a full time position, working throughout the year

The role:

  • Responsibility for management and supervision of Maintenance and Domestic team.
  • Obtaining maximum productivity, efficiency and quality of works whilst upholding all aspects of compliance
  • You will undertake repairs, maintenance and grounds works as necessary.
  • You will be responsible for a team which will carry out skilled and general maintenance, gardening and domestic duties and be involved in all aspects of estate management.
  • To ensure all legal, contractual and statutory requirements for the estate are fully carried out recognised and recorded.
  • Be highly organised – to manage multiple issues of varying levels of urgency and importance in a methodical way.
  • To complete risk assessments as required and ensure safe working procedures are in place for all maintenance tasks
  • To ensure that all health and safety management systems, processes and practices are consistent and co-ordinated and comply with legislation.
  • To coordinate and plan essential services with the Bursar

The working hours are 7.30am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays during the school term.  (16 per annum)

Salary is £ 30,000 per annum; benefits include pension scheme, life assurance, 25 days holiday and school meals (during term time).

Minibus Driver (part-time)

We are looking for a reliable and friendly Minibus Driver to join our Transport Team. Working hours are: 7.00am to 9.00am Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 7.30am to 9.00am, term time only. Possibility of additional hours on weekends and during school holidays. All applicants should have a D1 entitlement on a clean driving licence. Rate of pay £10.68 per hour.
