Years 5 and 6
When the children move into Year 5, they enter the intermediate years (Years 5 & 6) and gain greater independence through more specialist teachers and moving from class to class, supported by the staff with the organisation of their day. In addition to the French lessons, the children begin to learn Spanish.
As part of the Under 11 sports squad, they develop their skills in football, hockey, rugby, netball and cricket as well as participating in a range of matches against other schools.
Year 5 and 6 are important years for parents to discuss with the Headmaster the possible choice of senior schools. As an independent Prep School, we have the flexibility to work with all senior schools which gives the children an advantage.
